The ‘Special Grip’ series of darts were designed to help those players who have problems finding a consistent finger grip on their darts. The design forces you to hold the dart in the same place each time you throw them . With practice, this will give you a more consistent throwing action and lead to more winning games. These darts retail for as much as $45 in your local store or other Internet suppliers.

These darts are manufactured from premium 80% Tungsten alloy. A thin barrel means that you can stack the darts closer together on the board which improves your chances of hitting those magical three triple twenties.

The barrels feature a partially knurled barrel with a ‘Skin Ripper’ center ring to stop the dart from slipping as you release it. The position of the knurl and and the Skin Ripper body will help to guide your fingers to the same place each time you grip the darts. This will lead to a more consistent throwing action. The cut-back grooves at the center of the barrel provides maximum grip for the fingers.

The darts are neutrally balanced which means that there are no unusual in-flight movements as the dart heads towards the board.
